Support at Home Guide
HOW IT WORKS
Getting started with Support at Home can feel overwhelming, especially when the process is new. This guide walks you through each stage in a clear and simple way — from locating your assessment to preparing key documents, understanding your rights, and planning your first services.
Each of the ten steps explains what to expect, what you may need to organise, and the practical actions that help move things forward. You’ll also find helpful links, tips, and examples to make the process easier and more familiar.
Our aim is to make your Support at Home journey calm, informed, and well-supported. And if you choose to work with ACare WA, our local team will assist you through every stage so you feel confident and in control.
